WVRU-FM is a Public Radio formatted broadcast radio station licensed to and serving Radford, Virginia. WVRU-FM is owned and operated by Radford University. We are the New River Valley's Adult Alternative music source. Talented students at Radford University make up the bulk of our on-air staff playing adult alternative, jazz and other genres that complement our nationally syndicated programming.
